Celebrating this year at the One of A Kind Show

What a year this has been. My paintings have seen some beautiful things happen. They evolved seamlessly, from a series of poignant dark but vivid smaller abstracts this winter, to light, big canvases incorporating handwritten notes from my piano manuscripts. Then, this fall, my trees came back. These finely detailed paintings take many sessions to complete. They seem to lead me to places I have been. One led me to the magnificent Magnetewan River and a spot I had been on during a canoe trip.

I will have all the art from this year at the show; the poignant, winter abstracts, the summer light musical abstracts and the fall brand new tree paintings.
